To contribute to this thread: I don't know if SFG is a dork yet.. I haven't ready enough posts yet to make up my mind. I do notice however that some of you folks CCat and others don't particularly care for him (I think thats saying it mildly?). To each their own I guess.

Ah, c'mon... I wouldn't say we "hate" Scotty... Hate is just such a strong word.

You gotta know Scotty to appreciate Scotty. Most people are initially drawn to Scotty because of his wonderful, happy-go-lucky, "infomative" attitude. Kinda like that local TV news guy. You think he's nice, well informed, attractive... And then you find out there's about enough depth to the guy to barely pour a thimble of water into him...

The artists rendition is very much Scotty. The dog is cute - but when it keeps coming back and humping your leg, quite a bit of the cuteness wears off...

You'll see in some posts that we get along with Scotty - and in many others were have a... Oh, what shall we call it.... a "differing view". Scotty would have you believe that WE attacked him - but, if truth be known, Scotty came here to stir some crap up after his pal was caught red-handed trading out fake Cubans for real one. Now Scotty's all upset because he's being called to task - and still being an ass about it.

It's a shame really - some day Scotty will get it... Just not right this very minute.

Stay tuned, though - I promise there's going to be more action, comedy and adventure (and romance, if Spencer has his way)!!!

I'd just like to state that I know Oblik from another board and that he is in my pass which is nearing completion. Carlos took some serious heat and responded with true poise and class. A lot of people in his situation would've opted to cut and run. I know it, I've seen a few do that. Carlos is working to rectify the situation and I think that says a lot about him. While I've never had the same kind of problem as him, I'm sure that it could happen to any of us and that the only reason it hasn't, is due to pure luck when we all started out in the hobby.

Your post is nothing-I've already stated that I patted him on the back in the apology thread, as well you did. Your point is still negated since in my first two dozen posts, not one topic was in regards to him. In regards to the trouble making-it is clearly you that does that. I came to this board to just talk about cigar and my earlier posts reflect that. Do I need to produce the 13 URL's again where you baited me unsuccessfully?

It's rather funny how your appearance on this board coincides with a certain high-ranking Island member (a "co" moderator friend of yours) coming under a lot of heat for his trading behavior from CC and others on this board. You immediately made your presence known in support of Oblik - remember??? Of course you don't want to remember... It's better to pretend that's not why you came here and make everone else look like big, bad, mean people who are attacking you - Right, Alfred?

And the "baiting" you got was what you had coming for trying to intervene on behalf of Oblik. What did you expect, Alfred - some kind of "respect"? Of course you did - you're the "law"!!! (I didn't forget the Tombstone sigtag at the Island, Alfred). Just like you're trying to be the "law" here ("Oh, Hex - they fellas that are picking on me are posting in the wrong thread..." )
