That depends. Are you talking about cigarette smokers or cigar smokers? Because we all know that cigarette smokers are scum and get what they deserve while cigar smokers are unfairly dealt with by everyone, usually including cigarette smokers...

Many groups think they are discriminated against, gays, minorities, overweight people, handicapped, mentally ill, mentally retarded, etc. which in some cases I'm sure is true.

Cigars are obnoxious to most non-smokers and I understand that completely. I don't expect anyone to tolerate my cigar.

I love cigars (obviously) and I would never dream of lighting up in an enclosed public space.

It's rude, plain and simple. Just as rude (if not ruder) than some that over does it on his/her cologne or some that can't take a shower at least every other day or like the who gets his daily change of clothes from the bottom of the hamper or the that never wipes his ass and smells like all the time, or the .........

One time at work we had to go to a high school to restore the power and while I was in my bucket truck working on the transformer the shop teacher came out and reminded me of the anti tobbacco policy in effect at the school system. The dude was serious too,I asked him if he knew how to do linework and he said NO. I politely told him since he was unquallified for the job he should leave the work area and STFU. never heard another word from mr shop teacher and the power got back on in record slow time.

Nothing I love better than some idiot pulling a boneheaded stunt like that.... WTF was the moron thinking... I'm sure cigar smoke was totally filling up the shop room... Moron...

I love walking into a bar, badly yellow stained from all the years of cigarette smoking going on, heavy, thick cloud of smoke in the room - and they get all bent out of shape because I light up a cigar. nutbags...

Or when I was at the Brickyard 400 - I'm sitting in the stands behind two chimneys. Finally got pissed off and lit up a Montecristo Platinum... They got all kinds of bent out of shape... So I made sure they got a good dose of the smoke... Losers....
