Is it just me or does it seem like smokers are one of the most discriminated against group as well as on of the most ostricized groups?

i wouldn't say 'one of the most.' don't forget about jews, blacks, middle eartherner, gays, and many others that are or have been ostricized far worse.

Many groups think they are discriminated against, gays, minorities, overweight people, handicapped, mentally ill, mentally retarded, etc. which in some cases I'm sure is true.

Let's see, I can't go into Lincoln and frequent a cigar bar. You also can't light up in a tobacconist's shop. Perhaps it's you, but I don't know. Now if you don't mind, roll call for the cigar smoker's gulag in my state has just been called. See ya!.

Cigars are obnoxious to most non-smokers and I understand that completely. I don't expect anyone to tolerate my cigar.

I love cigars (obviously) and I would never dream of lighting up in an enclosed public space.

It's rude, plain and simple. Just as rude (if not ruder) than some that over does it on his/her cologne or some that can't take a shower at least every other day or like the who gets his daily change of clothes from the bottom of the hamper or the that never wipes his ass and smells like all the time, or the .........
