Thanks for the review. You might want to dry box the next one if you're in the mood, or wait for several months till it stabilizes to your humidity. That could be most of the burn / draw / splitting issues.
Nice review. I aggree with Will. A few months in storage would probably help them along. Thanks for the review.
I thought about that, but the Blue Label was in the humi only 1 day and it was perfect and this one was 2 days so I was expecting the same . I'm going to let it rest for a good while and try it again. Thanks guys

Yeah that ashtray is big & heavy, I like it.
My! What a nice ash you have!

I had bought the sampler from CI about 8 months ago (blue label Fusion, MM, and DC) and the only one that didn't need much time in the humi was the blue label. The MM took quite a bit of time to adjust and was a much better smoke after sitting for a few weeks.

If you'd like a better maduro, I would suggest the Rocky Patel Edge, Sancho Panza Double Maduro, Camacho Triple Maduro, and the Casa Magna Colorado Maduro.

The taste was not near as bold as the cigar looks. While mine did not split or choke I just didn't care for the flavor. The draw was ok and the burn was ok only needing touching up once. The flavor was not for me but on the other hand my fiance' loved the few hits she took.

Default Ok, I never had this happen...

I left about 1/3 of the smoke in the ashtray last night.... This morning I picked it up, gave it a little purge and it was better than last night! I almost liked it! It was stouter and some "twang" I did not like was gone. hrmm.. maybe i should have purged it last night and kept on smoking it to give the smoke a fighting chance for a future place in my humidor.
