    Default Massachusetts cigar excise tax

The most honorable Governor Deval Patrick has proposed
Raising the cigar tax from the current 30% to a whopping 110%.
I have come to the following conclusions.

    1) The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is a gaping shit hole.
    2) The Honorable Deval Patrick does not smoke cigars, but does take it in the ass.
It will always be a battle a day between those who want maximum change and those who want to maintain the status quo.

    Thank you,
I believe we are both right. Mr Patrick both pitches & catches.
In fact I think he is presently working a glory hole in P-town.

I buy about 85% of my cigars online now. But nothing beats walking into a B&M and smelling the cigars , looking at them & maybe sitting down and having a smoke. I enjoy having a cigar at the local cigar lounge/ B&M.

Bums me out from down here!
I agree with everyone though, I still support my local B&M even after joining here and then I started purchasing more online about the same time I joined CS. I still support the locals though. it is indeed nice to go inside and shoot da shit and have a smoke, however , if they take it too far we will find "cigar bars" that most people bring there own smokes in! It will be a sad day.

    That's sick.

I believe we Americans threw an oppressive regime out of Boston once before over unfair taxation... mid-1770's I think...

Well a little time can fix that, so it's not that much of a problem.

Unfortunately the only true fix is to eliminate only one party.

    The party of the incumbent.

We need term limits. It's time for new ideas and new perspectives, not this nanny state garbage coming to us from across the pond. It's time we had actual innovation, and not this pipe dream of hope and change.

I hold a FM3 Visa for Mexico as well. I'm starting to think that may be a better option down the road.

Paddy. Did his proposed tax rape ever get approved?

I don't think they have voted on next year’s budget yet.
They threaten 110% and will settle for 60% I imagine.
