Actually I have to agree with you, I love the MH #9, unfortunately it goes for over $15 a 6 pack down here in Florida. I miss living in NY for the beer alone, a 6 pack of Labatt Blue is over $12 now!!!

I love the Blue as well. Unfortunately, it's around $11 here. I love it that Labatt is the Canadian Natty Lite, yet we here in America still treat it like some exotic import.
At least you guys get Stone beer. No Stone here. We have tons of Abita, and that's about it.

Haha. I'm a big fan of magic hat too. #9 and hoptical illusion is great too. I need to send some Blue Point beer. That's the craftsman brewery here on Long Island. They have great stuff.

Just wanted to let you guys know I picked up a CAO Brazilia from your recommendations. It turns out my wife is not so open to my regular cigar smoking as the initial screening indicated. We'll see how that goes. Anyway, I am still planning on setting up a coolidor and getting some good sticks in it.

I can't wait for a spot of good weather to smoke my first CAO.

I liked this cigar. I do not really know much yet and don't feel comfortable spouting my nonsense on the general boards yet, so if you all don't mind and may just mumble on in this thread until I get my bearings.

This cigar was a bit more robust than my typical smoke. It burned nicely and the torpedo (can't remember the stylish name they gave it) was a nice size. I puffed slowly while working in my brewery and it was quite enjoyable; lasted maybe an hour and 20 minutes. I tried the "purge" thing where you blow through the cigar for the first time and it really made the last 1/3 of the cigar MUCH more enjoyable. That was a great thing to learn!

The cigar seemed spicy (???) to me with nice notes of some kind of sweetness, maybe a molasses-ish flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

On another note, I finally figured out how to blow smoke rings and entertained myself by practicing my new found skill.

I was never a big fan of those. I just happen to smoke one today. Prior to today, I don't think I'd smoked one in the past four years or so. I dislike them now just as much as I ever did.
