I've been exploring maduros over the past year and came across a Nat Sherman 5-pack on JR. 99% sure it's the 1400 DC. The good news is that it's a great cigar - very peppery and tasty, the wrapper on is fantastic. The bad news is that I found the cigars to be poorly constructed. I have smoked 2 and both had problems with staying lit and burning consistently. The cigars are very soft to the touch and just don't feel as "filled" as other cigars would. I have 3 left and they feel just a soft, so I'm not optimistic that they'll be any better.
Is this a generally known problem with Nat Shermans or did I just get a bad batch?
