    What is WRONG with you?
Yup, it is. That's because everything sounds like a Samba in Argentina.

Since the guy that thinks he's handsome seems to believe "Gringo's" should be beaten like a pinata - I'd like to offer the value added aspect of being a Gringo.

  6. Default "Fiesta Guajira" my last painting

I like Fiestas Guajiras (farmers party) in my country...dance, music, drink Rum (with coconut Water), Roasted Pork, and smoke a Cohiba cigar or Partagás Culebras (I like it). Go to my party and enjoy

I think your art/painting looks like crap.
I just don't See anything in it that stands out or even catches my attention.
Gluing it to a toilet seat helped, that did catch my attention for a few seconds.

You actually find people that pay you for this stuff?

    I just don't get it.

"It is easier to criticize, but difficult to improve.

If you want to help people improve their behavior it is worth investing your effort in learning how to help people change their behaviors, attitudes and skills. Also, always remember not to get carried away or judge yourself by someone else’s criticism and feel depressed as you are the best judge to judge yourself. Take Criticism in your stride, consider those which are genuine and implement those which you think is the best to improve you as a person!.......see link

A very nice FOG pointed out to me that this painting is a good illustration of this thread. Now, can we guess the characters?

This painting is not a portrait , this style is more caricaturist, the character's faces are very different aren't very realistic , the most important is this painting is the composition , the elements in the painting's composition feel they belong together.
These are portrait ( my grandson and my daughter )

What part of cigar forum are you having problems with?
I'm sure if you look you can find a forum that talks about art some where.

Dasi, like all artist, wants feedback on her art. So here goes. I like your use of color. They're very vibrant. Your use of primary colors is comendable. Your composition is so, so. Your subjects are mundane, however. You lack imagination and there's little below the surface to contemplate. There's no conflict, or emotion. They are just nicely painted pictures. Maybe, If I was Cuban, I'd find them more interesting. If you were a photographer, I accuse you of taking snapshots not creating art.

Although I am not in agreement with some criteria. What it means "There's no conflict, or emotion" . Maybe the explanation to your concept of conflict and emotion could be explained by the idiosyncrasy . Mexican feel emotion and conflict to be a bullfighter while Americans feel both in a good American Football game. I understand that my paintings are not universal . I am only an amateur Thank for your support, for your opinion and for giving us the opportunity (apart from us not knowing a good English) to life with freedom and make our own choice
