Nah - That actually caught my interest, and did not make me laugh... that video is WAY too respectable for this thread.

I read the link you provided and it's an interesting concept. What's missing in that little story - how many of those people walking by the painting actually bought one. If Art is in the "eye of the beholder", are the "beholder's" buying?

I'm looking at your eBay store and I see you have 5 unique customers that appear to be happy with your work (since June). They are particularly impressed with your fast shipping! And it truly looks as though those paintings of yours are flying out the door! And - as icing on the cake - they're paying upwards of $5 in some cases!

$10,500 for one of your original oils??? NICE!!! (BTW - that DOES include free shipping)

Keep it up, Daisy! Soon you'll be legendary!

I think she thinks you're one of those people that put "X's" on her canvas and wrote a nasty comments (as in the story she shared with us). Her "master" (whomever that is, but likely her husband) has since talked her off the ledge and she's back in full glory!

Thanks for sharing - some wonderful pieces. At the bottom of that list is a little know artist (Cezanne) for $60,500.

Here we have some relatively obscure artists: http://www.ugallery.com/art-by-price-over-2000-dollars - though no Daisy....

And Daisy at $10,500... I'm getting cracking on those toilet seats!!!

I feel I have a fairly decent command of the English language, and I'm really good at figuring out what someone is trying to say for the most part. That, however, was almost as random as a Day Job Orchestra video:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y43CBki2BVE

Can someone please translate that into something my brain could wrap itself around? Is it supposed to be something like the tourists in Miami don't like her art because they are idiots?

There is only one word that pops into my head regarding that post- "what?"

Somebody thinks that my paintings are very expensive , but they are sold very well in Miami and sarcastically I say , "because they are fools". I'm sorry for the inconvenience
