Tubes also have that thin liner of cedar

Are there any significant differences between keeping them in or out of tubes when in the humidor? I have to imagine it doesn't matter too much.

What about plastic, or cedar wraps?

    I like cigars
    I like them in tubes
I like them out of tubes...

I don't know where I was going with that but I haven't noticed much of a difference to answer your question. I have stored both ways.

Aren't you supposed to take that thin lining of cedar out and light that, using the flames from the cedar to light the cigar to give the cigar a new blend of flavoring. Well, thats what my old man told me. I noticed it was only slightly true in the beginning of the cigar; and by beginning, I mean the first 30 seconds.
