8-5-8 Before you made a complete ass out of yourself, did you even LOOK at the title of this thread? It was called "CC's inappropriate post"

What started this was SFG75 made a typical dork-like asinine post about some member of this board whose wife just gave birth to their first child. Scotty posted

I took issue with his stupid comment because I know for a fact he has NO EXPERIENCE raising children through their teen years to adulthood therefore his statement is ludicrous. My response was not insulting, not out of line and certainly NOT "inappropriate."

Scotty started THIS thread, "CC's inappropriate post" with nothing other in his warped "Carthago Delenda Est" mind than to make me look bad because this is the type of asshole that he is. When he completely lost the argument, he resorted to his usual bullshit of trying to change the subject.

Then along YOU come 8-5-8 with your absolute off topic bullshit that really had nothing to do with the original thread. If you want to take shots at me and make snide comments about my sex life and what I do (or don't do) for a living, then start your own friggin' thread. Then I'll ask you if you wear your suit when you clean up the shit from the overflowing toilets as your function as a "property manager"

of some slum apartment building in the shittiest section of Savannah seein' how you're such a "professional" and all.....

But again, that's another topic which isn't relevant in this thread. (Probably kinda pisses ya off that I'm slamming your "profession" when I really don't know WTF I'm talking about, huh? Get the picture? Because unlike you, if I were to make those comments about what you do for work with no first hand knowledge myself, I'd KNOW I was out of line and I probably would not make those

Returning to the matter at hand, I'd like you to answer these questions since this is what is RELEVANT here:
1. Was my post quoted above in kenyth's thread "inappropriate"?
2. Was SFG75 out of line for even starting THIS thread to begin with?

If you feel the urge to open your big mouth here, this is what you should be talking about. So feel free to post you answers to my questions. A simple "NO" & "YES" will do, no need for a lengthy explanation. As a matter of fact, the shorter you keep your answers, the better off you'll be.

Thanks for that Sarge... I had a chat with CC and some of the others last night and I am doing my best to repair the situation... I have conceded defeat and admitted to my mistakes. I don't really see why it's necessary to continue slamming me after I apologized to CC directly for the things that were said.

Well stop apologizing already. A simple, "I'm sorry guys, I shouldn't have stuck my nose into something I didn't know anything about" would have been sufficient. A page long apology is way over the top. Just let it go, move on, and do other stuff. You'll be on probation with these guys till your character is established so don't dwell on it.

I wasn't so sure that a simple "I'm sorry" would have been sufficient, hence the long post. I said what I felt I needed to say given the comments I made earlier. I don't expect an immediate change in attitudes towards me, but I can't help but continue to apologize when people continue to berate me over it. I've made my bed and will have to sleep in it, but I don't intend on sleeping there forever.

Actually... the answer to #2 was yes... I was half asleep and misread the question to begin with.
