    Default Last Picture

Here's the last picture. Also, some captions for the above thumbnails. The first two are just different angles of the humidor, with some dimensions shown. The third and fourth pictures are my instructions to myself and my father on how to make the ladder, which is pictured, partly in picture 5. This picture shows the ladder in it's entirety.

    Thanks!

Shitcan the individual holders and go with some drop in-trays. You'll quadruple your storage space.

I agree, and if you can afford to go larger, go larger.

If I put in trays, do you think I'll get enough airflow for my beads? The beads will probably sit in the bottom. On the sketches above, the space between the two ladders (right in the middle) was going to be for beads... sound good?

    Thanks!

Yes, you can drill holes in the trays or buy them somewhere like this: http://www.bargainhumidors.com/bh/Pr...ctid=ACC-TRAYS

Hey Buzz, thanks for those links! Now I can't decide whether we (my Dad and I) should build the shelves or just buy 'em.

    New Interior Dimensions: 25" Deep x 30" Wide x 13.5" Tall
I got the ideas for the new dimensions from those trays, Buzz. The website said that the dimensions for the trays are: 12.5" Long, 7.5" Wide, and 2.25" Tall.

So, with my current dimensions, I will be able to fit 6 layers of 8 trays (4 Wide, 2 Deep)..

    Current thoughts on new dimensions?

Thanks for all the input! I really appreciate it!

Alright, I worked on this last night and finished it this morning. With input from other members (always looking for more input) I have decided to shitcan the individual holders. They were mostly for asthetics, but I was worried without them or trays, if it would be okay for the cigars to sit on top of each other all the way up the interior ofthe box (minues a tray or two). I've changed what I'm thinking and thanks to Buzz, found some trays that measure 12" x 7.5" x 2.25" According to the website, each tray will hold 30 cigars (I know, probably not accurate) but, with that in mind and with the current dimension configurations of 48 of those trays, I can hold 1440 cigars in this humi. Now, that's not accounting for humi beads or anything else. I'm thinking of getting a couple of the blue cap humi bead tubes (65% Rh). If I had say, 250-300 cigars in there, how many of those blue cap tubes do you think I would need? I've looked at the calculator and it says that I need 11 ounces of beads. Do you think that with 11 ounces my cigars will stay moist enough?

    Thanks everybody!

Also, here are the new sketches of the humi. Happy Smoking!
