Nice summary on what to know about accessories.

I homebrew as well, just a simple extract plus specialty grains to flip-top bottles set up.

thanks! Same here...I'm having too much fun with extract at the time to change my setup. I brewed with a buddy of mine that does all grain batches and from start up to clean down it took us EIGHT hours!

I can knock out an extract batch and clean the gear in 3 or 4, then have more time for drinking...

I'll do an extract with grains from time to time when I'm short of time but I like getting ten gallons for the same price as five gallons of extract and grains.

I hear ya! That would be the reason for me to switch over (when I do), but right now I don't have the space for a bigger setup. Ten gallon batches would make it worth it... What do you brew in? Keggles?

All grain is brewed in keggles and 5-gallon extract & grains is brewed in my 32-quart turkey fryer.
