What kind of cigar did you smoke with your boss? What was the wrapper shade? You can try a few that are similar as well as begin venturing out. Lots of different types, brands, etc. so you'll need to develop your own taste, by trying different ones.

Also, if you want to keep costs down, consider small cigars that also don't require as much of a time commitment. My go-to that I always keep on hand are Partagas Black Label Prontos (4 3/16 x 36).
