Metal humidor?

I've seen a few metal lined humidors at antique stores and online from estate sales.
Kinda like these

Never used one myself, so I can't say if it works or doesn't work. But it doesn't seem too uncommon to have a metal lined humidor.

I suppose that's pretty dependent upon what kind of metal is used to line the humidor. Something that does not corrode would be awfully nice!!!
