Metal humidor?

I've made humidors out of 50 cal. ammo cans. Steam clean, line with cedar and they work great with an outstanding seal. Rust has never been an issue because they're painted with some kind of indestructible paint, probably expoy based.

They work fantastic as long as in a drunken haze you do not try to light up a 50 cal round from inside the ammo can humidor!

Ah, right, rust. I hadn't considered that part - was only thinking of how the case could harm the cigars, not the other way around. There is already some rust on the outside, but looks like only a bit at a seam on the inside. Think I'll go with it, and if it seems to get worse over time I'll just fall back on a coolidor instead. Now to get the other supplies...
