Pre-light: Colorado shade wrapper. A little lumpy / bumpy and has a reddish hue to it. Construction looks ok. Has a plain tobacco scent and a plain sweet tobacco taste on the prelight cut.
Light: Easy. Medium draw.
1st 3rd: A bit harsh, but not too bad. Oily & woodsy flavors, but a bit overpowered by the bitter oil. Leaves a kind of ash taste in your mouth.
Ash: Sorta smooth and bit flakey. Gray. Holds of for about 1”
2nd 3rd: Kinda like the first 3rd Oily (bitter), woodsy and an ash aftertaste. The bitter has died a bit and if you puff slooooww, the ash taste isn’t that bad. I’m calling “yard gar” now.
3rd 3rd: Yep. Same profile, but some spice now. Ash aftertaste…Yikes!
Overall impression: A yard gar bordering on dog rocket. There are much better yard gar alternatives out there, IMHO.
