  1. Default Ps about the feet

I also noticed in your new pic it has no feet. This had 6 square cast iron feet. Should sit about 6 inches off the ground. Check with the auction house, if they don't have them I will talk to the guy I sold it to and see if he still has them. JD

    I am changing this because I think I read that wrong ;
Are you now admitting to having 2 user names on this site? If so a big no no You might want to read the rules if you care sunny.

Or are you saying your the original poster of the picture sunny used here?

    I have a fucking headache.

    This thread is stupid.

  4. Default I am saying

How could you read it wrong? I am starbuck66 from the 2006 thread.
When the guy who started this thread used my pic I got an automatic email.
So I looked at this thread.
My reply is for the new poster sunny1az, not a ghost, but the guy who now owns the humidor I was selling in 2006 a real person completely separate from me. 2 user names 2 different people. I agree I have a headache from this too. Half the people in this thread need to go back to reading their conspiracy theory books and stop making up stories about how sunny1az is a ghost using this thread to take over the world.

starbucks was reading this thread yesterday evening - and it now appears he's gone back to being a "ghost". Perhaps we'll hear from him again is 6 months or so...

2006 ~ starbuck66, one hit wonder, posts a thumbnail of an antique humidor, and later a couple more pics. CS says "looks cool, not sure how much it's worth"
2006 ~ starbuck66, cuts and pastes the same info on CP (and possibly other forums?) using a "shotgun" pattern to draw information from the cigar community.
2011 ~ sunny1az, one hit wonder, posts a slightly photoshopped identical picture from starbuck66's separate post
2011 ~ badwhale wonders if this is the same person with a duplicate account (against rules and regs)
2012 ~ wchode, one hit wonder, bumps sunny1az's suspicious thread with more information regarding the value.
2012 ~ badwhale wonders what the relevance is for bumping this, as the OP (sunny1az) seems like a "ghost" or someone who's never going to come back here to check on the thread.
2012 ~ wchode whines that this is not a ghost, and provides a link to the 2006 CP post by starbuck66
2012 ~ badwhale tried to point out that he was referring to sunny1az as the ghost, but was apparently ambiguous about it.
2012 ~ cinda asks starbuck66 if he is the same person as sunny1az
2012 ~ starbuck66 re-appears out of nowhere to clarify that they are not the same user as sunn1az, and confirms that sunn1az bought said humidor from starbuck66 previously.
2012 ~ heftysmokes gets a headache reading this thread

There, I think I clarified it.
The powers that be might take it all away

Ok, ok, ok... C'mon fellas - think about what you're talking about.

I was once told by a very wise man that every item has three values

    1) what someone wants to sell it for
    2) what someone is willing to pay for it
    3) what it sells for.

Bottom line - If you own one, the thing is INCREDIBLY valuable. If you don't own one, and REALLY want one - the thing is INCREDIBLY valuable. Otherwise it ain't worth squat... By your own admissions - there are a wide range of values for that humidor - from FREE (one was tossing it in the garbage) to high end - $10,000. So - which is it?

It's been posted repeatedly on cigar forums and has not sold. What does that tell you about the potential value of that humidor?

Face it - it's a very limited audience, niche type object - bulky and heavy - that may or may not sell for what experts believe it may be worth.

The behemouth is clearly not getting much attention here - other than for the "ghosts" that occasionally surface out of the woodwork to claim what a fantastic find it is. Either sell it on Craig's List or eBay - or put it up for public auction somewhere. Those would be the BEST places to sell it.

...and I apologize in advance for "rudeness" any of you jamoches might perceive. However - I'd like to point out that we'd likely not seem so rude if you knucklheads stuck around and posted more often and got to know the crowd here. M'kay?

Oh please don't misunderstand me - I don't think anyone was in the least bit rude.

But - to someone outside who isn't used to the members on the board, we could be viewed as perhaps somewhat "rude" or "condescending". You know - kinda like the uncle that likes to give every one noogies when they come to his house. After a while "Uncle Buck" just grows on you because you realize he's a big hearted fella!!!
