You must be incredibly proud to live in a capitalistic society - where you can take something that's being tossed in the trash and sell it for $3k! Where else could you do something like that?

You made such a compelling business case for him to buy it for $3k, perhaps you could also convince the person you sold it to that antiques roadshow would be interested in featuring the behemoth on an upcoming episode. Your story is just so absolutely fascinating, I can't imagine the producers would want to miss out on the opportunity to feature it.
