I'd love to sit and have a cigar and chat with Samuel Clements or Einstein.......both at the same time would probably be a complete riot!

ahhhhhhh..........add me to the bandwagon too. My dad's father passed away before I was born and it'd be cool to be able to talk to him and get to know him.

Chesty Puller would be an excellent choice as well.

One of my favorite Patton quotes:
"When I want my men to remember something important, to really make it stick, I give it to them double dirty. It may not sound nice to some bunch of little old ladies at an afternoon tea party, but it helps my soldiers to remember. You can't run an army without profanity; and it has to be eloquent profanity. An army without profanity couldn't fight its way out of a piss-soaked paper bag. ... As for the types of comments I make, sometimes I just, By God, get carried away with my own eloquence. "

I would second this. The man new more about history and the history of war than most can even fathom. Although I would pick to have a smoke with Thomas Jefferson.

Well if I could sit and talk with someone while they smoked a cigar it would be my late grandfather. I sat an talked with him many a day on the front porch and later on averanda of the home he had to go in his last year of his life. I began tearing up instantly when I read Kevin response thinking omg if I could have one more day.

Famous person would be Don Rickles

Well, it's Friday night and I could use some musical entertainment. So, for today I would choose Shannon Hoon.

Would like to smoke and do smoke with my son.
Nothing more satisfying to me than to go to his house to help him with some crappy job on my day off, only to have him thank me by pulling out a couple of his cigars for us.
Don't really even care what brand they are at that point, but he 's snobby, so it always goes well.

I wasn't thinking of fictional figures before... Forget the nephews, I change my answer to smoking a Cuban Churchill with Kramer.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Winston Churchill.

I'm not big on the idea of smoking a cigar with famous people so I'll have to pass on this.
