Check is fine. Most of the others just put 4 singles in with their cigars.
When you get the chance post what cigars you are going to send so that the drooling can start on them.

OK, when I get home I will pick five of my favorite cigars and post them. Will try not to drool on them. What's the best way to ship them? How about in plastic bag, then bag goes into a hard cardboard mailing tube? And I will stick four singles in there, not used to mailing cash but WTF, it's only four bucks.

Your cigars look great.
On shipping here is how I do it.
Get a Priority Mail 6x8x2 box. The post office will have them for free. Put your cigars in a bag with the $4 dollars. Put a little bubble wrap around the cigar bag so they don't move around in the box. Fill out the label that the post office will have. Get a Delivery Confirmation Receipt for a total of $4.30 Make sure they don't watch you put cigars in the box. The Post Office I heard doesn't approve of it unless you have a tobacco selling license.
After mailed post the DC #.
