I have read they would be best in a humidor, but do to other circumstances (we are in the middle of a move), I do not have a humidor. Usually when my husband buys any cigars he puts them in a ziplock bag and puts them in the freezer (dont know for how long.) Should I open the cigar case and attempt this? Or what else should I do? Would they be ok out of a humidor for two weeks until he gets them and can deal with them? They were relatively expensive and I would hate to ruin them. Thank you for any help, it is much appreciated.
Do not put the cigars in a freezer for any length of time - it will eventually dry them out and make them unsmokeable (would be very tragic, especially with cigars as nice as Davidoff).

For temporary storage I use the heavy freezer ziplock bags. That will keep them plenty humidified for at least the next two weeks as long as you keep the ziplock bag sealed. For longer than 2 weeks, go to a local cigar shop and pick up a small humidification "pillow". You soak the pillow in distilled water and place it in the ziplock. It will keep those cigars humidified for weeks.

Hope that helps!
