    I also like to cut a little off at first, and then cut for a second time when the tar begins to build-up or I'm about half way through the cigar.....I highly recommend multiple cuts. In my experience it has always helped.

    I smoked one last night, It was a great cigar, but, towards the end it was less enjoyable. On the next one, I will try to cut it multiple times. Thanks KingPin!
