Seriously though, I did the Atkins diet, and when my son was in the Neonatal ICU at Children's Hospital, I had to let go of his hand to go to the Emergency Room at Parkland because of Kidney Stones, caused by a High Protein Diet. Far be it from me to disrespect another's opinion, but Kidney Stones HURT, and for me the pain was Multiplied because my son needed me.I ask you, how hard could it be to be wheeled away from this?
