Carribean trip/smokes

I've been there but can't remember if I got smokes there or not....whatever you do if you buy cubans make sure they are from a registered habano shop!!! If they say they are and are lying they can get in some deep chit, so this usually keeps shops honest.

Truthfully, you can probably get your hands on some cubans cheaper domestically......I was in the caribbean last summer and the prices were crazy at a few different islands.....I think this is because they realize most travelers have money to spend and don't care to spend it.....I don't care how much money I've got I will always be frugal.

Sorry I wasn't much help......A little advice would be to take your own.....that's what I did!

Take your own..cheaper..!

Or if you will be there for months you can order from a reputable vendor in that general area. Im sure he could ship some to you.

I would have to agree...bring your own cigars. Because that area is such a tourist area, prices on everything I am sure are ridiculous. Unless you can get away from the tourist attractions and find a small town away from the main places. I am sure they would have a cigar shop with dirt cheap prices. I am sure it would be in a slum somewhere and not a very safe place to be...better just bring your own!

Yea, I was figuring on taking some of my own. I will be there for a week so I didn't want to take a lot of them if anybody knew somewhere to get a good deal there. It sounds like I will just take my own and if I find some I will get those too. You can never have too many, right???
