Default Would you do any type of trade with SFG75

I usually don't do things like this but after reading how people are getting pissed off and not understanding what CC and George are trying to accomplish I thought this would help.

After reading many of SFG's post and the responses by other members would you do any type of cigar transaction with Scott (pass, trade, split or purchase) ?

it would have to be really worth it (which is typical of any trade for me, because i haven't done one), and i'd have to recieve his end first just because of how many people have said that one should not trade with him. i say give a guy a chance. if i were to trade with him or do a split and he had to send his end first and he'll only recieve my end upon being satisfied with his end, then, he couldn't screw me over anyway. although, i don't recall anyone complaining about his poor trading other than the time he put a beat up cigar in a pass. was there other instances?

i'm not saying i want to do a trade with him, i'm just making a point.

EDIT: I changed my mind. NO

    No.

I don't know Scroto to be a "bad trader" in the traditional sense (mooching, late to ship/pay, ueven trades, bad packaging) but I am all too familiair with his sense of right and wrong, how he treats others, and his motives.

I do not believe Scroto would trade unless he felt it suited his agenda. Because of this, I would suggest to others to steer clear of this jerk. .

I would never be involved in a pass that he is a participant in. He put a damaged cigar in a pass and when it was brought to his attention, he tried to lie his way out of it and make excuses. The proper thing to do would have been to say "Ooooops, sorry, I'll make good on it." but what does Scotty do? NOTHING!!! What's worse is that it was his own brother-in-law's pass!

If he's going to treat his own brother-in-law like that do you think he'd be any different with others?

As far as box splits or trades, absolutely not. I would never have HIM send me cigar because I doubt he's smart enough or experienced enough to properly package them without them sustaining damage during shipping. Would I take his money and send him a fiver or halfa box of cigars? Again no, he's not the type of person I want to deal with.

I wouldn't trade with him just because of what I have heard so far. While nothing is screaming cheater I just don't have that trust which is needed.

Here is a good examle of Scroto's "dealings"

Four "mystery" cigars? Why not specify exactly what you are putting up as stakes?

I suspect the reason is that Scroto wants to see who wins it before having to commit.

If an enemy combatant won it, he'd downgrade. If a newbie won it who hasn't spoken out against him, he'd upgrade the prize.

    Scroto is bad news.

I have done three trades with a member on this board. I've also done a box-split of two boxes with another member. Has anyone of them complained? If so, let me know so that I can make it up. Oh, you mean they haven't?, oh well.

I have not nor will I ever trade with this guy. Reason being, there are several....

He's not a true BOTL. He's only on the boards to push his warped political and moral agenda.
He claims to be a "master passer" when he has very little experience as far as I'm concerned. He obviously doesn't take care when shipping his cigars in passes, etc.

The contest he did on here is a desperate attempt to salvage his reputation, which is non-existent anyways. He's obviously trying to give the winner the shaft since it was someone he didn't want to win. Only a POS would do this sort of thing.

Scotty is a power-hungry little man who needs to go around flexing his jaw muscles to make up for his deficit physically.....

    You're done here I'm afraid.....

Shagaroo won. Of course Scroto never even acknowledged that Shagaroo was in the contest.

    This oughta be good..........

I have in the past and it went just fine. However, my NO vote has nothing to do with PAST trades but has everything to do with that "contest" debacle.

    Sorry Scot.

Never. If there was a problem and he decided I upset him, he'd just lie about it like he did in his contest thread. No way would I eve have anything to do with this guy.

He's a liar and cannot be trusted.

I don't think I would trade cigars with anyone unless I really got to know them. God only knows what kind of kooks, slobs and crazies are out there, I would be wondering if any surprises were in my cigars, or if they would be in pristine condition or not.
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.

DAMN, I'm a Junior Member. Does the title have any correlation to our actual "member"?
