My wife is reading it now. When she was half-way through, she didn't like it, but now she does, and wants me to read it. I'd be interested to hear what you thought about it after you've finished it.
I just finished Strange Adventures of Rangergirl, by Timothy Pratt. Haven't read a fiction book in a while. It was pretty good, I must say.
Now onto "The Second World: Empires and Influence in the New Global Order" by Parag Khanna.

Just finished Tweak: Growing up on Methamphetamines. Not great, but realistic. And oh so much better than Jas. Frey's A Million Little Pieces (of Bullshit).

So, I casually picked up this book on Thursday and will probably finish it tonight. I can't say it's the best fiction I've read in a decade, but there's something about it that keeps me plugging away at it every chance I get. It's definitely compelling, however.
