I saw a man on local TV telling about a family (his? I'm not sure) trapped in a car in high waters, with alligators circling the car. That one brought a shiver to my spine and depressed me the rest of the day. God almighty, my heart goes out to all the poor souls who have suffered and my prayers are with those who have died. There but for the grace of God go I - it could have hit Houston then we would be in the same situation.

Well, let's answer some of this stuff now that I have the time to debate all this drivel...

Like I said I know I gonna regret this but,

1. Sorry your not allowed to practice your 1st admendment rights here Slient, I guess my time in the Service only protected a few peoples rights, but not yours.

No one said he couldn't practice his 1st amendment rights...but what he was saying was extremely offensive and he was given many opportunities to say, "hey, ya know, everyone's right...it's not such a laughing matter," but instead like the moron he is he continued to be offesive...and who are you, to suddenly pop up and champion his rights?

2. Who here is a psyh major?...Or even a doctor for that matter? EVERYONE deals with stress, loss, pain, etc....differently! Not going to get into to much detail (because this board is very unforgiving) but I have a Serious Illness that WILL KILL ME. what do I do to deal with it you may ask...LAUGH. There is nothing anyone can do for me, and they've tried, painfully they've tried. Mom Cried, Dad ...well hes a guy but I know it got to him, Wife Cried but keeps a smile or her Beautiful Face for me and the kids. Friends don't know how to handle it some laugh with me, some act as though it does not exist. POINT...Bashing people for they handle situations like this one is inmature, arrogant, and just plain stupid.

Say what? You sorta rambled there, and if you are truly fatally ill, then you have my sympathy, but don't expect any from TheSilentChamber as he finds this sort of stuff amusing, which is what I found offensive...

p.s. I'm only 27 and in my life I've had more things Bad and Good happen to me than people 3 times my age, and I am greatful for all of it, Now read no. 3

You're not the only one...at 8 years old I came down with Polio...ever hear of it? I was also diagnosed with Crohn's Disease when I was 28...and I've had to live with it for 30 years so don't assume no one else has any problems except you as your raison d'etre...but you don't hear me whining about it...


3. Simple fact: Everything comes to an end! Good, Bad, whatever it all comes to an end. Its a law of nature. If you think that you or those people down south are exempt, your wrong. It is time for them to move on, part of life, pick up the pieces etc.......

Time for them to move? To where? And to what? Many of them have lost everything, their homes, their jobs, loved ones...I guess you're saying they should just get over it right now? You're beginning to sound like TheSilentChamber...

4. I saw that guy that lost his wife (lost as in missing, they haven't found her yet, "fingers crossed") it hit me too, I felt for him, but when did Slient laugh at him? That little bit of emotion just made all the shallow mined get all worked up and bash Slient evenmore than before, lynch mob style, ban wagon, etc ...Everyone stop for a moment and think for yourselves. He made a joke about a "wash down", and now people are calling for him to be ban. Who here has NEVER offended someone on a forum???? Should you have been ban too?

If I did any bashing, it might have been because he continued to make offensive statements...and I never called for him to be banned...just act like a normal human being with a little compassion for what was happenning but he continued to offer pearls of wisdom regarding his amusement by it all...

5. Necro, I admire your empathy. If you truly feal that bad for them, bad enough to make this big ole stink and start flaming someone you DON'T even know. Remember this "Action speaks louder than words". Pack your bags head on down there and help out. It would do alot more than bashing Silent.

7. These froums, website's, blogs etc..... Are all about free peaches... uh Free speech, and if that offended you, I would recommend staying away from computers, buying a "V-Chip" and staying in your house, saftley away from all those who think different than you.

Like I said, I'm though arguing, but it is kinda ironic that out of all the people getting bent out of shape over what I said, I'm probably going to be the only one thats going to be going down there. We're allready talking and starting to make plans to go down when its time to start rebuilding.

And why don't you do the same...you're hardly in a position to tell long-standing members of this board what to do, and neither am I, however, Silent is not a long-standing member...he just joined and immediately set out to be offensive...not a way to get on everyne's good side and promote trust regarding trades, purchases, et cetera, in fact, he could have golden cigars and I, for one, would not deal with him and I suspect there are a few others that feel this way too...are you trying to fit yourself in this category too, as you seem to have so much to say in Silent's defense? OH and put this all in prospective...Silent said a little joke...Nuero called him a Moron....Silent tried to end it ......Nuero called him a moron again, questioned his sanity, and other varios put downs, .....blah blah blah ....and now we have this. Not to seem childish but Nuero "started it"

And no, he didn't make a little joke...he made a continuing series of offensive statements, and no, I didn't start it...actually Silent did with his objectionable behavior...
