The only way you could order something and it turns out to be out of stock is if tx_tuff is walking out of the humidor and towards the cash register with it in his hand. No kidding. The only time the website does not accurately reflect the contents of the walk-in humidor/stock room is if someone mistakenly rings up a beli as a robusto or some such mistake. Judging by my conversation with la Patrona, such mistakes are probably rare.Originally Posted by SuperChuck

As soon as I posted this, I wondered if it was true. Let's say they have one box of A/F Hemingway Signature cigars. You order the last box and click OK. The inventory goes down to zero. At the same time, tx_tuff is walking towards the register with that same last box of cigars in his hand. Would the cashier still be able to check him out? Would she have to tell him, "I'm sorry. I can't sell these to you. I just sold them to some damn Yankee in New Hampshire."
I'll have to ask next time I'm in the store...
