I average 1-1.5 hours.....I guess I consider my average "short" because I've had a few sticks (not necessarily these) last 3-4 hours. I'm not a fast smoker.....I see no reason to rush a good thing.

I can't imagine a smoke only lasting 30 minutes.....to each his own, but I don't see the point if it's not at least an hour. Don't take this personally, I'm not trying to bust anyone's balls.

Superb choices... 3 of my absolute favorites there... I've ordered from Holts a few times... fast shipping and prices are reasonable.

I usually smoke cigars that last 1-1.5 hours also. Gloria #4 looks short, but, it smokes a long time. I agree not to rush a good thing. I keep some short smokes on hand for times that I want to enjoy a cigar but do not have the time to set aside to smoke a 1.5 hour cigar.

Yeah... Awhile back I bought a box of HDM Dark Sumatra in the Espresso size... at 4.5 x 50 it's a good substantial smoke, that lasts a good 30-45 minutes tops. Nice lunch break cigar...

I've noticed that ring gauge has a greater effect on smoking time than the actual length of the stick.

On that note, I tend to disagree that higher ring gauges = weaker smoke and lower ring gauges = stronger smoke. I think it depends more upon the tobacco and the construction of the cigar..........

I think that the tightness that the cigar is wrapped has a lot to do with burn time also. I also agree the strength of a cigar has to do with the tobacco.

Based on my above order, does anyone have smoke suggestions? I like to smoke alot of different cigars but I'm sure there's something out there I haven't tried/can't find.....

I really like odd shapes as well.....I happen to like Trilogies.

Haveta agree with ya there, I see no correlation between ring gauge ad strength of smoke.
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.
