Yeah... Awhile back I bought a box of HDM Dark Sumatra in the Espresso size... at 4.5 x 50 it's a good substantial smoke, that lasts a good 30-45 minutes tops. Nice lunch break cigar...

There are 10 kinds of people in the world - those who understand binary and those who don't.
I've noticed that ring gauge has a greater effect on smoking time than the actual length of the stick.Originally Posted by 8-5-8
On that note, I tend to disagree that higher ring gauges = weaker smoke and lower ring gauges = stronger smoke. I think it depends more upon the tobacco and the construction of the cigar..........

I think that the tightness that the cigar is wrapped has a lot to do with burn time also. I also agree the strength of a cigar has to do with the tobacco.Originally Posted by 55Kingpin

There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.

Get the Patels, but the 1990 Vintage is better than the 1992.
Haven't tried the Edge sticks yet? How do they smoke ??
The RP Vintage line are great cigars. I have had both the 1990 and 1992. I liked them both. I have also had the RP Vintage seconds, they are pretty good. Not as good as the real thing though!
I would recommend you smoke one on a full stomach. If you enjoy a full body smoke this is one for you to try.Originally Posted by centurycigar
They don't come wrapped in cellophane or bands and my local shop gets them in a box that holds about 200 sticks.....
