The MX2's are definately better. But about impossible to find.

I didn't mind the CX2's, but the ash was irritating. The ash flaked off continously while I smoked it, like a trail of breadcrumbs. Gave it another try last week, but same experience. Nice body, price is a bit high and they will never live up to the MX2's flavor.

In your opinion. I've tried the MX2 - overhyped, easy to look at, gimmicky, falls flat, as do most of the CAO line. Only ones I really liked are the criollo and braz., and they were so so. IMHO.

    MX2s are EASY to find

TBS do you have family in Sutton, Nebraska? Your leg humping and propenstity to shoot your mouth off with misinformation is getting real old real fast and is hauntingly familiar.......

I've never had a problem finding Mx2. I have the same so-so opinion of the Cx2. Not bad, but I can get a better cigar for that price.

    I'll stick with the Criollos
Have you ever thought about maybe turning off the TV, sitting down with your kids...and hitting them?

    Default Belicoso

I received a CAO CX2 Belicoso (7.0 x 56) for Christmas. I smoked it on New Year's Eve while enjoying A.) Jim Beam and Diet Coke B.) Large Mug of Dark Roast coffee and C.) A quick double shot of Dewer's Scotch (Yeah, it does seem like a weird combo.) The smoke took a little over an hour to enjoy.

It lit up easy and had a fairly easy draw. Unlike some other posters' experiences, this CX2 burned perfectly even and kept a long white-gray ash. It started out a little peppery, but quickly smoothed out with a light spicy taste. From that point on, the entire smoke stayed very consistent until the final 1/3 where it became a little bit earthy and still lightly spicey. It didn't take on much tar taste at all towards the end, which was a pleasant surprise. I would rate it as Medium-bodied.

While I enjoyed the cigar very much, it didn't seem all that spectacular. I always expect to experience some form of "WOW" or "HMMM, Interesting" when I smoke a premium cigar. I was underwhelmed by the CX2. I would smoke another one, if offered, but I probably won't buy any. I wish I has a FEW to try because I don't believe one smoking session in one environment is enough to properly review a cigar. It didn't spend long in my humidor either, so I would like to sit on a few for a while before giving them another try.

    Default Pardon?

What do you mean by an introduction in the Cigar Forum? This was my first post here in the forums and I have only recently started reading this forum. I am not familiar with any etiquette or locations for posting the various topics.
