I picked up a few La Veija Habanas and at first I was impressed considering the cost of the cigars. Dirt cheap. But alas one gets what one pays for, usually anyway, there are a few exceptions but Drew's LVH's aren't one of them.

After smoking a few over the next week I found that they completely trashed my palate. There are also major profile swings within the line which isn't unheard of but is uncommon. The Churchills are head-kickers and the Torps are mild, almost TOO mild.

Last week I bought a Drew Estate Root Natural - One would think that the term "Natural" implies just that. It doesn't in this case. I did notice that the cigar smelled like pipe tobacco when I took it out of the cello at home (should of done that at the store). I thought "Oh...one of those cigars made of pipe tobacco". OK, I'll try it anyway since I already own it. I lit it up and halfway through the first draw my mouth was filled with a disgusting sweetness as if I was lighting up a bundle of Swishers all at the same time! GROSS!!!! I went right to the bathroom and flushed it down the toilet.

I doubt that I will EVER buy another DE product again.
