    has caused some to fear
    whenever i read/hear that, i stop reading/listening. there's always something to fear.

    I think thats one of those things thats said but never done. for instance that prank kids pull when you light a bag of shit on fire at someones doorstep. never actually done but funny to think about. I guess there always a risk though, just like everything.

    When it comes to technology, anything is possible I suppose. At least something is attempted to resolve the problem.

    You know, there are some things that just don't merit remote support. I think pacemeker repair/tuning should fall into that category. NExt thing you know they'll be wanting to do remote surgery.

    Actually thats just a few years off...robotics and telesurgery. I would guess you will see it in the next 15 years.
