Thanks for the response Drake. Yes, it's over but it wasn't when I made the post you quoted. I dunno, I respectfully disagree with your opinion that PB & Scotty ran around here acting far worse than this guy. I honestly believe that fpdoc was truly worse than Scotty ever was.

I would ask that you review all of fpdoc's posts which only cover the span of 16 days or so. Long before I ever got "into" it with him, he was shooting his mouth off and being nasty to a few other members around here.

Purobrat and Scotty were never "banned" they just left on their own so your point is well taken that things should just be allowed to run their course. In almost all cases I still agree with this logic BUT there are the rare cases like this one with fpdoc where something absolutely needs to be done because of the level of disruption they bring to this board.

i don't disagree that he was an asshole. he didn't take this place seriously. which is why he didn't take his being an asshole seriously as says he hides in the real world. but i hoped he would get that and warm up to the place, but i guess it wasn't worth it to him. evedently he pissed off enough people. well, he's got some time to think about it. se la vi.

Well said, and so true. I hope other people have caught this pattern with him too.

Personally I find that attitude very disrespectful when people have had valid points against Doc or even want him to explain his faulty reasoning.

(i thought i had remembered a discrepency between you and the one's i had mention, i apologize. i was mistaken) by anger, i guess i meant strong dislike for doc's attitude. look at how long scotty and purobrat ran around here acting far worse than this guy and the word ban was never mentioned. i think it worked a lot better when we let things run there couse. if i remember correctly, when you first came here; that's what you FOGs were saying needed to happen. it seems like now, we are being very quick to ban and not let it work itself out.

Drake - you've time and time again proven yourself to be a voice of reason. We don't always agree, but you've earned my respect by putting forth a logical argument. You've been a smartass - I've been a smartass. But - through it all, clearly you are not so thin-skinned to think that I'm trying to flame you by and occasional busting of your chops. That comes from more than posting respectful posts the first few times, then jumping on the senior members of the board like they were some kind of pariah. That comes from being involved in the community for a while, participaing and understanding the dynamics of it.

What doc didn't realize, and probably won't, is that CC is a great guy. CC may bust balls because he's a grammarian, but he's a stand up guy. For doc to even think he was going to "eliminate" CC, because CC was hated by "many" of the membership is both arrogant and ignorant. George, I'm getting dejavu here. Didn't Corona Gigante pull this same stunt with CC when he created a poll a few months back? Wasn't Corona trying to prove by making that poll that CC was a bad guy in the eyes of members here and he FAILED miserably?
