Which phone do you have?

Maybe the Rockr, or whatever Motorola calls it. I shelled out 300 for my Razr, when the black one first came out. I love that phone though.

Depends on what you are going to use them for. I love mine. (Mini) Holds about 1800 songs. Supports playlists which you and make easily in the software on your PC. Many handy features and great ergonomiics. I have a Bose docking station in the office. Plug it in and use the remote. Got a kickin Altec Lansing boom box for Christmas. Actually has a lil door like an old cassette player you put the Ipod in. Have a couple of Mp3 players which are great for sports and exercise but the Ipod is a wonderful way to "bring your library" whever you may be.

Never met anyone who didn't like them once they had one. Probably the best testimonial you can have for a product.

My wife got me a 4 gb nano for christmas. Personally I never really looked into them or considered buying one but so far it seems pretty cool. I had an mp3 player but I had'nt been able to find it for months. Turns out my 3 year old put my old mp3 player in the microwave and blew it up. Funny, I thought a few months ago my wife just wanted a new microwave so she went and bought one. Now it all makes sense.

I got a Sony Walkman Core player for Xmas. 512 MB/345 songs. The best thing about this sucker is that it's tiny. About as big as my thumb. The whole front of the device is the luminescent display, and it's well protected by the transparent case. For such a small device, the controls are pretty intuitive. I can operate all the basic controls on the thing one handed without looking at it. That makes it pretty handy in the car. The Lithium Ion rechargable gives you 50 hours of play time.

The bad thing is that it only uses it's own file system and you have to use it's proprietary software to store and load music at a 64 kbps compression bitrate. That means if you want to store your songs in true MP3 format as well, you will need to make a second copy. That's kind of a waste of space.

40G and I really like it.

I'm lazy, so i like have a large hard-drive. That way I don't have to make "playlists" and change the music on my iPod. I just use it as a way to hold almost all of my CDs.

Hmm, I forgot about this thread. In case whoever it was still cares I have the Motorola E815 (Rokr is fugly)and my flashcard came a couple days ago. 'Tis da bomb.

I may be changing my mind about iPods though, as I borrowed a friends and have become addicted to it (I have an aux-in in my car so I use it non-stop).
