I don't inhale, as you would with a cigarette.
But I always breath a small amount of the exhaled smoke in to my nostrils.
Aroma is a huge part a cigar's overall enjoyment.

Welcome to the world of cigar smoking. Here's a few tips:

    1. Keep your cigars properly humidified. Eventually, you will want to get a humidor. For the time being keep them in the plastic bag away from sunlight, in a cool dark place. A basement is perfect if you have one.

    2. When clipping off the cap, be careful to not cut too deep. When you clip the cap, instead of thinking like you are cutting it off, think that you are "opening" the cigar. You should not cut the entire cap off or the cigar will unravel. You just need to open a little air hole.

    3. Unlike cigarettes, cigars will go out if unattended. However, if you puff too strongly, too frequently, they can also develop a harsh taste. About a puff a minute will keep it going without it becoming harsh.

    Enjoy

Keep in mind smoking cigars is all about the experience. You want to take time to appreciate the flavors in the smoke. Don't rush through it. You would only be cheating yourself and could really make it into a bad experience if you "hot box" it.

I don't know about everyone else, but my mouth/throat tends to get very dry while smoking. I always have a flavorful drink in hand to compliment my chosen stick.

    Enjoy!

    welcome welcome!
First, congrats on nearly finishing your finals. You have finished a major part of your life, so relax with the cigar, kick back with your fav port (mines Brown Brothers, although it may be a little hard to get as im in Oz...) and enjoy the moment

    Cheers
