Just wanted to add some more information to George's post:
Scotty initially joined The Island of the Misfit Toys along with MANY CP members who were upset with Zac's spamming of CigarPass and his claim that "letstalk" was NOT him.
When Scotty was a GOOD guy
Specifically see post #16, this was on January 15, 2005.
As you can see by that thread, PuroMooch went over there claiming he was going to "contribute" or whatever and Zac mad him a mod immediately. On the other hand, Scotty pretty much sat back. The first person banned was gamelover2005 then about two weeks later, Moheganson was banned. Up until the time Moheganson was banned, Scotty wasn't participating much on either side of the flame wars on The Island. It was sometime AFTER Moheganson's banning that Scotty became a moderator.
During this whole time, we had the "Eleuthardt!" thread and situation at CP. This was in late January as well. Scotty was a "righteous dude" during that whole affair and I remember thinking at the time "WOW, it's great to have support from someone like Scott" I felt proud to call him a friend and ally, this was as late as January 28th. He was right by our side trashing StogieChat, here's an example:

Scotty was ruthless in holding Barney's feet to the fire during "The Everlasting Gobstopper Pass" fiasco right up until it ended. Once again, Scotty was an upstanding and contributing member of the CigarPass community.

AH HA!!! Here's where it happened, on or around March 1st or 2nd, Scotty and alexgtp became moderators on The Island of Misfit Toys. Somewhere in this four day span, Scotty underwent a metamorphosis from a really good guy into a complete asshole. This will puzzle me until the end of time. How can someone who was so supportive of CigarPass and what it stood for, who had become accepted into that community all of a sudden throw that all out the window in a matter of four days? This is the main reason I maintain that Scotty is an insincere, lowlife slimeball who cannot be trusted. I can only conclude that what had APPEARED to be sincere posts from Scotty on CigarPass were not that at all but rather just examples of this "leg humping" (patronizing fluff) which has become his trademark when in fact, he had a devious plan in the works all along.

LMFAO, and on March 6th, the Island went "private" due in most part to Scotty being a total asshole as a "moderator" and pissing so many people off. Scotty and Zac blamed CigarPass but the reality was that The Island had MANY members from Herfer's Paradise, CigarFamily and quite a few other boards who all saw what a train wreck that place was.
