Hey All;
After the Canadian Federal election, we have a starkly different governing power. The Conservative government, under Stephen Harper, is very pro american and reflects many of the more conservative US values.
I was wondering what my fellow Canadian's think of this new minority government. (To the American posters, they are a minority because they do not have the majority of our parlementary seats as compared to the other Federal parties combined.) What about our American or international posters..... What do you think? Is a more conservative, pro-american government a good thing?

Canadians have the right to vote as they wish, but I am glad they now have a government that may see more eye to eye with our government so we can cooperate on issues. Was it Canada that refused to partner with the US on our missile defense shield a while back? I can't remember.
