(To the American posters, they are a minority because they do not have the majority of our parlementary seats as compared to the other Federal parties combined.) What about our American or international posters..... What do you think? Is a more conservative, pro-american government a good thing?

    See ya
I like it just the same as anyone else out west does. There is a reason that the Conservative party swept alberta. Stephen Harper is from Calgary. Finally, the East (Ontario) smartened up and got the Liberals out. During the elections they were talking about banning handguns. WTF would that accomplish? Do they think that all the gang bangers are going to turn in their handguns? I'm sure that they all have legally acquired guns in the first place . I personally am excited to see what Harper does. Now that Harper is in power, we will have a lot more pull with the States. I agree with his pro-american views and would like to see Canada turn into a similar country.
