I ask because I'll be working in New Jersey over the summer on a visa, and if there's a big jackpot I'd kill myself for not playing a little.
They should really knock down the jack pots and let more people win. Imagine getting 36 mill if 10 people win or 10 mill if 36 win, that's enough to live off relatively lavishly even without investing a dime of it. Put it in an orange account and you're making 300k or so off the 10 mill annually.
That doesn't make any sense at all...Originally Posted by MCsommerreid
Jackpots are based on ticket sales and the numbers are drawn at random. If 10 people have the number that was drawn, the jackpot is divided amongst the 10 people with that winning number. If no one wins, the money stays in the pot.
I was thinking more along the lines of 10 $36 million jackpots instead of one insane $360 million jackpot. Its just my oppinion that $360 million for possibly one person is a plain retarded amount of money.Originally Posted by SuperChuck
What you're looking for, then, is a "daily numbers" game.Originally Posted by MCsommerreid
The whole point of multi-state lotteries is big jackpots. When the Powerball jackpot gets over 200-something million, even I'll go buy a ticket.
How many new relatives you think you'd get if you won? heh hehOriginally Posted by SuperChuck
