Sorry about the lack of replys and interaction (once again). Work's kinda taken over all aspects of my life again so i'm struggling at the moment to find any free time to go online.
Ok, here's the thing: I've been spreading the word here about the cohiba boxes and a number of people that live in london are interested. The average price most people are coming up with is £400 ($670ish) for the esplendidos and £250 ($434) for the Robustos. I'm biding my time till next weekend when i'll finally have enough free time to give this some thought so i can make a final decision.

So, just to repeat, i'm hoping to get $670 for each box of esplendidos and $434 for the single box of robustos from here. If you guys could match that, i'd be more than happy to tell the english buyers to look elsewhere and ship them over to you guys. I know its a lot of money and that some of you are no doubt going to be dissapointed when you read this, but, in my defense (and in a blatant attempt to pull on your heartstrings), i'm gonna use the cash to finish my degree (which was the reason i went to Cuba in the first place) and pay off the loans i took out to get me throught the last 6 years of university.

On a separate note, i smoked one of the Esplendidos on monday. Sweet. Jesus. I'm not much of a cigar person, but these were without a doubt, the best cigars i have ever come across in my entire existance. I had to sit down for a while after i smoked one, eyes wide, mildly shellshocked and mumbling "holy shit that was nice" for a good few minutes till i recovered. Then again, having consumed a good 6 or 7 cocktails before i smoked anything probably didn't help, but you get the idea, they're fooking good.

Anyhoo, lemme know if this changes anything. If anyone would like to restate their bid, just in case i missed it (i haven't read all the pages yet) that would actually be quite useful.

Default Final system, no changes please.

Hi again. Seems that the offers kinda dried up a bit here. Oh well.

Before i get to the shagaroo system, let me explain a few things.
My goal is to sell these cigars to pay off the stupid amounts of debt i'm in from being in university for the last 6 years and buying the cigars in the first place.
The recommended retail price here in england for these is £600 each (that's about $1000) I'm selling them for $600 a box, so i'm actually losing a good £250 profit.
Essentially, I don't care how you guys split it, but as long as the boxes go for close to that price, i'm happy.

My problem with the system is as follows. The cigars come in boxes of 25. 25, is an odd number, and hence the boxes cannot be divided into halves or quarters without sawing through some lovely cigars, which, i'm sorry, is out of the question.

Also, there are only 3 boxes available. two of them at a higher price than the other, so putting them all at the same value doesn't make sense.

Here's my idea. 3 boxes. The two esplendidos will be labelled E1 and E2, each worth $600(ish). There's only one box of robustos, so i don't really need to label it anything, and its going for $350(ish). These are the prices i'm expecting for them, so please no bids of $2.50 and a week old happy meal. The bids HAVE to be around that value to be taken seriously.

However, If there is enough demand for the idea, i'm willing to split one box of esplendidos (box E2, 25 cigars) into two bundles of 10 cigars and one of 5 cigars. The two tens (lets call them bundle A and B) will be worth a minimum of $240 EACH and the bundle of five (bundle C) $120. The problem in this lies in the fact that all the bundles have to be sold, otherwise i'm left with a bunch of cigars no one wants. So, this idea will only work if buyers can be found for all the bundles. I will only do this to ONE box. However, if someone bids for all the cigars in Box E2, at a value higher than that of the combined value of the sum of the bids for the bundles, the bidder will recieve all of Box E2. I hope that makes sense. PM me if it doesn't.

Deadline on the Offer is on thursday the 16th of March. The person with the highest overall bid for each box/bundle wins.

Please PM me with any questions you have, i will be checking this place regularly till thursday and i'll try to respond to anything quickly.

Ninos - just want to thank you for being so flexible. I think the 10/10/5 is a great idea and I'm totally up for it. But who would get the actual cigar box? Or would we be able to bid separately for the box?

Another question - March 16 - is that GMT? B/c if the deadline is the 16th over there, it's still the 15th here. Can you clarify?

    I like the new system...

I bid $450 for E1, $130 for a 10 pack from E2. I would also like to bid $45 for 1/8. Would you be willing to split the Robustos into packs of 8 and 13? If so I bid $90 for a 13 pack. Do these prices include shipping, as well as any additional taxes? If E2 gets split up, I would like to bid $60 for the empty box. Can you get any boxes of Romeo y Julietas? If so I will bid $160 for 1/2 a box of RyJ and 1/16 E2.

With all of this bidding, I am not sure if I am going to be able to make my next car payment. I propose that we start a payment plan system. How about 43 dollars a month for E1, 55 dollars a month for E2, and 34 dollars a month for the box of RyJ plus the 1/3 box of robustos? Does that work for you? I am sure you understand that these cigars are total top end sticks, and as such you should make them available to regular guys like me. I am sorry if I am not pulling in 7 figures a year.

TOP THIS SLCRAIDERS (AND WATCH YOUR BACK BITCH!!! )

    hello again,
Deadline is Thursday March 16 at 21:00 new york time.
The prices do not include postage and packaging, which will be extra, and will vary depending on how fast you want the cigars to reach you.
provided i find 3 separate buyers for the bundles, i'll start the bidding for the empty box of espledidos at a paltry $10. That's $10 for an EMPTY box. Alternatively if no one wants it, the person who bids highest for a bundle of 10, be it bundle A or B, wins the box.
Also, please specify which box you want in your posts.
Finally, i'm sorry, but the offers have to be paid in full before i send of the cigars. We'll discuss payment after the winner is selected, but i'm open to cheque, paypal and directly transfering money to my bank account (which i kinda prefer). Depite how much i want to, i can't completely trust that you won't run off with the cigars and i'll never see the money again.

Hope this answers everything, and keep bidding!

Hey Shag - I think Ninos likes your bidding system - although he's put a wrinkle into it. I thought we were doing numbered lots. Instead we're doing "A" and "B" lots. Plus - I don't know what the deal is with selling the empty box - hadn't even thought about that. I mean hell - I love collecting empty Cuban cigar boxes to display on my wall!!!

Anyways, I bid $45 for two 1/4, $36 for three 1/2, $69 for two 1/8, $29 for four 1/16. Put me down for $237 for one, two boxes please. On the third box I bid $176. And the fourth box (if it's still up for sale) I'm eyeing $152. The empty box for one I bid $10, for two I bid $16 and the third I bid $9. Or should that be "A", "B" and "1", "9", "16", "33"... Please let me know.

Agreed - we wouldn't want to treat you with anything other than the respect and patience you've the board. I think I would prefer paypal - for the same reason that you won't run off with our cash and we'd never see the smokes again.

Why isn't the 4th box for sale anymore? It would have allowed us an extra 1/4 quantity, or depending on the splits, 1/4 of the 1/4, 1/8 of the 1/4, down to 1/8 of the 1/4 of the 4 box set (or 1/4 of the box itself). Lots of guys like me don't get a chance at ISOMs that often, so it works for everyone's advantage when there are more sticks and more splits.

I say Shag and Ninos set up a time in the chat room to iron it all out - I vote for the Shagaroo system - easier to understand.
