Was I threatening? Hmmm. I'll have to work on that. What I was saying and what I'm saying now is that you guys are not gonna burn Rod down while I stand around and watch. Just that, nothing more. There was a couple side trips with drakey and shaggy which were purely for entertainment but I've come to understand at least one of them a little better.

i just don't see a need to lump everyone here together and calling us names. if you are in any way, trying to get to the bottom of this, then i welcome you. but if you're only here to talk shit to the people that make up this community, then there's really no reason for you to be here.

I apologize to you as well. Let me be clear. I am here to prevent a travesty. Rod was and is the object of a witchhunt. I won't stand by for that. He deserves better and I'll do whatever I need to to stop it. You don't have definitive evidence. When you do I'll grab a pitchfork. I say that with the clear conviction that I will never have to grab a pitchfork. That is not the kind of guy Rod is.

This is by no means a Rod witch hunt. I have no problem with Rod and appreciate what his forum has to offer to the online cigar community. I posted factual information that was present in the Cigarsmokers logs and tried to interpret it to the best of my abilities.

To be honest with you I would not have even given it a second look besides the fact that there is this whole underlining issue of private data from this forum making it into his hands without a proper explanation of where that information came from.

He says we have a snitch. Do we? Until someone comes forward and admits to giving Rod this content, or Rod steps up to the plate and truthfully states how this data made it to him, as an administrator I have no choice but to assume the worst.

Try to take a step back and look at it from my point of view. I get a rather nasty email from Rod containing information that he got from a private conversation which took place here. The same day things start showing up in the logs. I email him about it and get no response, what am I supposed to think? Everything is fine and dandy? Peachy even? I think not.

I don't want this to go any further then a good old fashioned honest response. That's all I've wanted from the beginning.

Far as I'm concerned, a travesty here is way, way out of your area for concern. I don't know you or Rod. Looks to me like Rod has people here who respect him and at any rate, he's a big boy and can take care of himself. Only respect can command compliance with demands, whether from fear or love. There's no difference between your own example here and where you found fault months ago. You have friends here. I've read your posts other places and have appreciated them. But your actions on this thread/subject are wrong-headed. In a clumsy attempt to red cross Rod, you stepped on your own dick and created a whole new issue. You may be the kind of guy who believes the end justifies the means, but I call bullshit on it.

I'm not the one suggesting we keep score w/ post count; that would be you. This kind of condenscending shit don't lock the trophy for intelligence for ya. And while your intelligence or intimidation factor or cigar IQ or whatever may dwarf my own of any of these, smellin' stink ain't rocket science.
