My cigar tastes are ever changing it seems.
It's been a year and a half since I started cigars, and my palate just can't seem to decide on a favorite style. When I started, medium to full flavored maduros were my favorite game. Carlos Torano SC, IT Fire, RYJ Maduro, Onyx, Diablo, IT Fire Maduro, IT SF Maduro, etc. were all on my hit list. The other lighter cigars just tasted bland.
I seem to be leaning towards medium to mild bodied cigars with lighter wrappers now. I'm now enjoying cigars like Don Diegos, Ghurka, Santa Damiana, H. Uppmann, RYJ 1875, etc. I seem to be getting subtle flavors that before I just missed. I also used to favor Bourbon with a cigar, now it's good black fresh ground coffee that does the trick for me.
At any rate, you have to love cigars. There's always something new to explore. It makes you wonder what anyone can possibly see in cigarettes.
