I keep my leather, 3 finger cigar case in my humidor. Leather does hold a certain amount of humidity and putting a cigar in a dry leather cigar case will, in my opinion, suck some moisture out of your cigars. No need to season it. Just keep it in your humiI use my case every night and I can keep it out for hours without the cigars drying out. Then when I get home I put the case, and any cigars left in it right back in the humi.
