Same cigar,paper bands are cheaper. Oliva makes great cigars and I guess that saved some $ . It is the same cigar though just the packaging has changed.

Wow, ya got me Ted, I only know of and smoke the ones with the fabric bands. I'm usually a maduro fan but with these cigars, I favor the Oliva "O" Bolds (red satin band) over the Oliva "O" Maduro (blue satin band).
The Oliva "O" Bolds are one of the few medium priced domestics that I like.![]()

I had the torpedo with a paper band last night. Definitely the same flavor profile of the smaller robustos with satin label. An outstanding smoke that just went on and on.
