    I was there on Whyte ave in Edmonton Sunday night. What a blast. I think they had more police officers than people on that street. Everything looked pretty peaceful for the most part.

    I agree with you on mementum, when the team is hot nothing can stop them. On the other hand unless it will be 4 and out series this added rest might help in the long run

    But at the same time, Canes and Sabres going the full 7 puts them at some disadvantage. I don't think "hot" describes either one of these teams - they are slugging it out all the way, kind of a last man standing kind of thing. I'll bet the Oilers are glad for the rest. They'll be up for whoever wins the east. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for Buffalo and Edmonton for the cup.
