I agree with you on mementum, when the team is hot nothing can stop them. On the other hand unless it will be 4 and out series this added rest might help in the long run

But at the same time, Canes and Sabres going the full 7 puts them at some disadvantage. I don't think "hot" describes either one of these teams - they are slugging it out all the way, kind of a last man standing kind of thing. I'll bet the Oilers are glad for the rest. They'll be up for whoever wins the east. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for Buffalo and Edmonton for the cup.

Buffolo and Edmonton is a great matchup, although I will not mind Oilers and Canes either

Carolina was one of my pics at the start of playoffs so I still hope they do it.
Martin Gerber was the back up for Giguere during the 2003 year and he is an awesome goalie. I would like to see him win a cup.

Well we played some great hockey and this series with injuries took it's toll,and I think it took a lot out of the Canes too, so I'll go with the Oilers to win the cup.
