    Default R.Patel smell like cheese?

Hi Guys, new to this forum.

    Been smoking for 2 years

I recently bought a box of Rocky Patel 1990's. I've had 3 so far and they were all perfect. Last night I had my 4th but this one was different. It had a distinct "cheese" smell before I lit it. Similar to sharp chedar

I checked my hands to make sure it wasnt me since I had tacos a few hours before and my hands were clean - no cheese smell there.

I keep all my cigars in a 200 count humidor at 68-degree and between 70 to 73 humidity. My hygrometer checks out and is acurate.

All the R.Patels are in celo.

Any ideas what it could be from?

    thanks!

Never heard of that before. Are they perhaps mold or something like that? 70-73% RH seems a little high. Try lowering it at least 7%.

That is assuming that your hygrometer is bang on.

Never heard of that either. Assuming you just got a bad stick - happens once in a while, did to me. Or, the guy rolling it had tacos for lunch and he wiped his hands on the tobacco.

Not joking - did that cello smell like cheese as well? If you can tell, might want to sniff the others in the box.

    Welcome to the forum.
Look at that... I plumb got myself 5 raisins and 7 termites.

Glad to be part of this formum. Been meaning to join one for a while but never got around to it.

i havent checked any others but will do so tonight.

Its too bad, I didnt even think of checking the celo. I DID however have my buddy take a wiff too just to make sure I wasnt imagening things....and he thought the same thing.

    Weird, eh!

oh well, no harm done, it still tasted good.
