    Default Another noob today.

    Hello, I hail from the great state of NC and I work in radio. Been smoking cigars for over a year now and still expanding my horizons. I've learned alot in the last year, but I want to learn more. I see a few familiar names, and to everyone else, hi ya'll!

    What kind of music does your radio station play? I hope you're not associated with ClearChannel......

    If I have to hear one more of those "River Music" stations the next time I'm driving on a long trip, I think I'm going to puke...

    There are two large evils in today radio, ClearChannel and Infinity. They own a large majority of stations across the country. Luckily CC, I work at a small 1000 watt AM station in a fairly small town, so we would not be on thier radar. We play adult-contemp hits from the 50's to the mid-late 80's. Lots of artists have made records over the past few years that are classic standards.(Rod Stewart, Barry Manilow, Merle Haggard) They get alot of play here. Quite a nice rotation if I do say so myself.
